This retouching project for the Longines Legend Diver centered on the delicate interplay between the iconic "beads of rice" stainless steel bracelet and the deep, lacquered blue of the compressor-style dial. Achieving this level of clarity requires more than simple blemish removal; it demands a comprehensive reconstruction of light and texture.

The workflow involved advanced frequency separation to maintain the authentic grain of the brushed steel while eliminating micro-scratches and dust that distract the eye. Specific attention was paid to the domed sapphire crystal—a notorious challenge in watch photography—to ensure that reflections were shaped to highlight the dial's depth rather than obscuring the internal rotating bezel. Every luminous marker and polished hand was individually masked and enhanced to produce a balanced, high-contrast aesthetic that resonates with the discerning collector.
